The task from our customer was to substitute an old superheated steam with a new and efficient solution, of higher capacity in order to answer to the new plant requirements. Due to the limited time schedule of the project it was needed a turn key project. In this regard, ICI CALDAIE together with one of its local partners, managed and successfully completed this turn key project in which we had to remove the existing boiler, to design, install and supply all necessary materials for this new installation of a higher capacity superheated steam boiler. We supplied a GX S boiler with a capacity of 10 t/h of superheated steam, 5.5 bar superheated steam pressure and 94% efficiency. We supplied the boiler along with GSS 72 system which allows operation without surveillance for 72h, economizer and modulating feed water system. The project was completed by putting into operation performed by ICI CALDAIE and as a result the boiler room was successfully authorized in conformity with local regulations. The maximum capacity was examined and confirmed by the customer through a continuous 72h test, continuous operation and a low NOx value less than 100 mg/kWh was recored.
