The customer was in a position to renovate his thermal power plant. As part of its production, Voltan SpA encountered fluctuations in pressure of the outgoing steam which had an impact on the title of the steam supplied, compromising the guarantee of delivery of dry steam and leading to cases of dragging of drops that impaired the efficiency of the cycle. leading to problems of non-compliance of the packaged product, which in turn represented a cost of inefficiency for the company. For this reason, one of the design drivers of the new plant was the goal of stabilizing the pressure of the steam leaving the generator.
